2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the type and purpose of their use

a) When visiting the website

When you access our website www.mybeglaubigung.de/en, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your device. The aforementioned data collection and processing for the purpose of placing an order with us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. This consent is necessary to know who is ordering the certified translation and who will become our contracting party.

d) When paying through our online shop

We also use your aforementioned personal data to process your payments.

Your personal data will be used to verify your identity, ensure that you have reached the legal minimum age for online purchases, and match your address with external partners. We aim to offer you multiple payment methods and conduct analyses to determine which payment options are available to you, including your payment history and credit checks.

Should you decide to pay with one of the online payment service providers we offer during your order process, your contact details will be transmitted to them as part of the order initiated in this way. The personal data transmitted to the online payment service provider typically includes:

or other data necessary for order processing, as well as data related to the service, such as type of service, recipient's identity, invoice amount and taxes in percentage, invoice information, etc.

This transmission is necessary to perform the service with the payment method you have selected, especially to confirm your identity, administer your payment, and manage customer relationships. Please note, however, that personal data may also be shared by the online payment service provider with service providers, subcontractors, or other affiliated companies, to the extent necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations from your order or if the personal data are to be processed on behalf. Depending on the selected payment method, such as Giropay or credit card, the personal data transmitted to the provider will be forwarded to credit reporting agencies. This transmission is for the purpose of identity and creditworthiness checks regarding the order you placed. The legal basis for the transfer of data arises from Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, for the execution of the payment method chosen by you and our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR to enable user-friendly and uncomplicated payment processing. Furthermore, our legal basis is to fulfill our purchase contract concluded with you according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

We offer products and downloadable products for purchase through our website. For this, we use the Woocommerce service. Once you click on one of our product buttons, you will leave our website and be redirected to our individual sales page. The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies and the related consents.

a) Google Analytics

b) Google Ads Conversion Tracking

To statistically capture the usage of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. In this process, Google AdWords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have arrived on our website via a Google ad.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the AdWords customer's website and the cookie has not expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. 5. Social Media Plugins

We use social media plugins from the social networks Facebook and Twitter on our website based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR in order to increase the visibility of our website. The underlying promotional purpose is to be considered a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation lies with their respective providers. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method to best protect visitors to our website.

a) Facebook

We use Facebook social media plugins on our website to personalize their use. For this purpose, we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. This is an offer from Facebook.

a) according to Article 15 of the GDPR, request information about your personal data processed by us.
