Certified Translations

With MyBeglaubigung, you can quickly and affordably order certified translations for all official documents: Choose the type of your document (e.g., birth certificate, transcript, etc.) in our online shop, upload your document as a file or photo, and then order the certified translation. We will deliver your certified translation within 3-4 business days via email and by post to your address.

A certified translation of a document (for example, a birth certificate) starts at €55 per page and can be easily ordered through our online shop.

In Germany, notaries are not responsible for certifying translations. Therefore, certified translations are not created by notaries, but by state-certified/sworn translators. A certified translation confirms that the translation is accurate and complete in content, matching the original text. This certification is confirmed by state-certified/sworn translators with their signature and a stamp or seal, and it holds legal validity. 

A certified copy, on the other hand, is unrelated to translations. It simply confirms that a copy of a document has been made and that this copy matches the original document. The certified copy aims to prevent counterfeit copies and may only be issued by certain officials such as notaries, judges, authorities, universities, schools, etc.

Ja, unsere beglaubigten Übersetzungen werden von staatlich vereidigten Übersetzer:innen aus Deutschland erstellt und werden daher prinzipiell von allen deutschen Ämtern anerkannt. Eine notarielle Beglaubigung der Übersetzung ist in Deutschland nicht notwendig. Wir empfehlen dir trotzdem bei den zuständigen Sachbearbeiter:innen des Amtes nachzufragen: „Wird eine beglaubigte Übersetzung von in Deutschland staatlich vereidigten und ermächtigten Übersetzer:innen anerkannt?“.

Ja, unsere beglaubigten Übersetzungen werden auch von allen deutschen Gerichten anerkannt. Eine notarielle Beglaubigung der Übersetzung für Gerichte  ist in Deutschland nicht notwendig. Manchmal möchten Richter:innen zusätzlich vom Gericht bestellte Übersetzer:innen mit einer erneuten beglaubigten Übersetzung beauftragen. Wir empfehle dir daher bei den zuständigen Sachbearbeiter:innen nachzufragen: „Wird eine beglaubigte Übersetzung von in Deutschland staatlich vereidigten und ermächtigten Übersetzer:innen anerkannt?“.

Wenn es sich um ein Land oder eine Behörde der Europäischen Union handelt, dann werden die beglaubigten Übersetzungen von MyBeglaubigung prinzipiell anerkannt. Rechtsgrundlage dafür ist die EU-Verordnung mit der Nummer Nr. 2016/1191. Eine Liste alle EU-Länder findest du hier. Wir empfehlen dennoch, vorher das Konsulat/die Botschaft des Landes zu fragen: „Werden Beglaubigungen von in Deutschland staatlich vereidigten und ermächtigten Übersetzer:innen akzeptiert?“ Gleiches empfehlen für Nicht-EU-Länder.

Each sheet of paper for certificates, contracts, or diplomas counts as one page. Example: A diploma with 3 sheets of paper counts as 3 pages. For a driver’s license or ID card, however, the front and back sides count as 1 page. Still, you need to upload two photos. Example: A driver’s license/ID card has a front side (Photo 1) and a back side (Photo 2).

Yes, you can upload as many files as you need. Alternatively, you can also combine multiple pages into one Word or PDF file. It's important that you specify the total number of pages for all documents when placing your order.

No, only one photo per document is allowed. If you have 3 documents, you must submit 3 photos. Otherwise, your order cannot be processed.
